Official Sketches from Fairy Tail's Creator's New Manga

Earlier, it was reported that Hiro Mashima, the author of Fairy Tail, is starting work on a new manga. Mashima had shared the news via twitter:

On Tuesday, the official website of Kodansha Comics shared some sketches from the upcoming manga. (Full resolution images are available here)

The new manga has been scheduled to start publishing in the 30th issue of Shonen Magazine on June 27, 2018. The magazine's official website also teased some details about the new work:

Japan … America … Europe… The world is waiting …

Eleven months have passed since the finale of Fairy Tail. Now a new adventure awaits.

On June 27, 2018 the new series by Hiro Mashima begins!

What will it be about? It’s a secret for a little while longer …!

Hiro Mashima first gained recognition with 'Rave', published in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine from 1999 to 2005. His next work, 'Fairy Tail', published in the same magazine from August 2, 2006 to July 26, 2017, became a huge success, with over 60 million copies in print. The manga inspired an anime television series by A-1 Pictures, Dentsu Inc., Satelight and Bridge which began airing on October 12, 2009 and finally ended its run on March 30, 2013, totaling 175 episodes. A week ago, it was announced that the final season of the anime 'Fairy Tail' will go on air in fall 2018.
