Dragon Ball Super | Toei Animation | Special Department

It hasn't even been a week since Dragon Ball Super ended. Fans were assured about the 'Dragon Ball Super' movie coming late in December 2018, but it looks like there is more in store for the franchise than just a movie.

Toei Animation confirmed through its official website that it will be restructuring the company's departments. Under the new company structure, there will be a third company department under its Anime Planning and Production Headquarters, with the main objective of focusing primarily on upcoming Dragon Ball projects.

Atsushi Suzuki (Digimon Adventure tri.), will be in charge of the new department, in addition to holding his original positions of executive and business development department head. The 'Television Planning Department', responsible for television anime, will be renamed to 'Planning Division Department 1' and retain its current focus. The 'Video Planning Department', which focused on CG anime, will be renamed into 'Planning Division Department 2', and will also retain its current focus.

The 'Dragon Ball Super' has been teased with a 30-second trailer and a key visual.

For fans in UK, 'Dragon Ball Super - Part 3' is scheduled to be released on DVD and Blu-Ray in June 4, 2018 within the UK and is available for pre-order now.
